The Fees Must Fall group is now looking for another disruption and are not happy with Marthinus Theunis Steyn’s statue on the main campus of the Free State University.

Campus management is again willing to hear submissions about why the statue should be removed.

In 2016 calls came for the so called decolonization of education and education institutions.

Educationalists argue that universities could offer their courses in two categories, namely those who want to receive education in Africa and those who want to study within the framework of a civilized western system.
