Sandile Msibi, a Free State official, who allegedly received bribes and plundered the Department of Roads and Transport coffers has left R25m with his death.
This includes several properties in the province including three farms, three properties in Vereeniging, two apartments in Bloemfontein and five properties in Parys.
According to analysts, it is not bad for a civil servant.
He allegedly had very close ties with the prime minister of the Free State, Ace Mahashule.
Magashule blames the so called white monopoly capital for a witch hunt against someone he regards as “the best head in the department’s history”.
