Members of Odendaalsrus deployed at Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court received information about a suspect who has a firearm and involved in stock theft at Hospital Park, Odendaalsrus.
The information was operationalised on the 14 September 2023 and the suspect was spotted and he tried to flee but was caught. He was found with a slaughtered goat, an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court on Monday, 18 September 2023.
