Suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle from a known pub in Bloemfontein.
On Saturday 15 July 2023 at about 01:45, members reacted on information about a white Hyundai Tucson with GP registration numbers allegedly stolen in Westdene at a well-known pub.
The complainant alleged that her bag was stolen with car keys while she was inside the pub after two African females kept her busy while her handbag was taken by another person.
Within 6 hours after it was reported stolen, members working together with a tracking company located the vehicle parked in a tavern’s yard in Mangaung.
Two suspects were arrested and further investigations led to three more suspects including two females.
The complainant’s personal belonging were also recovered.
All five suspects are to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ court soon for possession of suspected stolen vehicle.
