The Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation team in Thabong hereby appeals to members of the community to assist with information regarding the murder of the two police officials.
On Friday, 23 October 2020 at around 19:35 the deceased Sergeant Madiega Elias Makhooe (40) who was stationed at Odendaalsrus Detectives was shot and killed after arriving home from fetching his wife from work by unknown suspects.
In a separate matter on Saturday, 14 August 2021, at around 01:30 the deceased Constable Zwelinzima Sam Bomvu (29), who was stationed at Bronville Police Station, was shot and killed while off duty by two unknown suspects.
