ToekomsVonk and its Board welcomed US President Donald Trump’s Twitter message on farm murders and land expropriation in South Africa. On the 14th of September 2018 ToekomsVonk Directors hand-delivered a Memorandum to the US Embassy including supporting documents addressed to the US Secretary of State as evidence of the large scale killings on white people and farm murders in South Africa.

ToekomsVonk’s investigation team has been busy for some time now to compile statistics on attacks and murder of farmers and in general. The investigation has been launched because many of the attacks and murders do not reach the mainstream media. These statistics are regularly published in English to ensure that all people can read and understand it. The figures are carefully checked and confirmed before the statistics are published.

The statistics are staggering with a farm attack every 1.4 days (average) and a farmer is killed every 5 days (average).

The decision was made and it was undertaken by ToekomsVonk to submit evidence regularly to support the US Secretary of State in his investigation, by providing further information and statistics through the US Embassy in Pretoria.

The ToekomsVonk Board was filled with surprise and horror following President Ramaphosa’s statement to Bloomberg in New York that there is “no murder of white farmers in South Africa” and also that no land grabs are taking place.

We who live in South Africa and have lost loved-ones in such attacks, know that he blatantly lied.

On the 16th of November 2018 the ToekomsVonk Team, it’s Directors, including Mr. Steve Hofmeyr and supporting groups, will be visiting the US Embassy based in Pretoria again with more supporting evidence of what is the truth and the reality of the people of South Africa. The world must know the truth.
