Mathew Morgan (42) was brutally murdered last night shortly after 21h00 on a smallholding in Knoppieslaagte, Mnandi area.
Apparently shortly after the fence alarm went off, he wanted to inspect what was going on.
As he opened the cottage backdoor he was fatally shot.
Allegedly 4 black males fled the scene after the farm attack. It was later established by SAPS, the local Neighbourhood watch and security company members that the fence surrounding the property was cut.
The suspects are still at large.
