Eskom’s acting chairperson, Zethembe Khoza, denied allegations that he was trying to bribe an MP.

Rumors over the weekend revealed that government security minister Bongani Bongo was sent by Khoza to ‘buy’ parliamentary investigation chairman, advocate Nthuthuzelo Vanara. This was apparently done by Bongo in an attempt to stop the state capture investigation at Eskom.

According to observers, however, there were earlier attempts by a group of MPs requesting party members to stop investigations into Eskom, Transnet, and Denel.

They believe the putrefaction process among cabinet members, councilors, and even private bodies run more profound than the man in the street will ever realize.
