Johannes Haasbroek (73) was stabbed with a pair of scissors in his eye and back on Sunday morning, June 21, 2015, when he and his wife were overpowered by two attackers on their farm Friedslard in Ganyesa district (Vryburg area), North West, South Africa.
They were still asleep when the attackers gained access through a window and attacked them.
Johannes was stabbed with a pair of scissors in his back and eye. The suspects fled with two cell phones and a pistol.
They were arrested at a cattle pen in Cassel. They are 27 and 28 years old.
Johannes refused medical assistance and said he will visit his doctor.
The suspects appeared in court on Monday in Ganyesa.
