Three suspects have been arrested for murder on the night of 12 February 2020, following information received.

The arrest comes after a community member found a female body next to the gravel road to Balasi Valley in King Williams Town in January 2020, and alerted the police. The body was positively identified by her family as Zukiswa Ntuku.

During the investigation, police received information about suspects that were involved in the murder. Police went to a house at Hintsa Street in Bhisho and arrested a 50-year-old female who is the main suspect. They then proceeded to Breidbach and King Williams Town CBD where they arrested the two males aged between 20 and 25 years.

These suspects were immediately charged for Murder and will appear at King Williams Town Magistrate’s Court on 14 February 2020.

King William’s Town SAPS Cluster Commander, Brigadier Luntu Ngubelanga applauded the Detectives for the investigation they have conducted diligently resulting in the subsequent arrest of the suspects. This sends a strong messages to all perpetrators that Police will not rest until the suspects are behind bars. He also thanked the community for sharing valuable information with SAPS and encouraged them to report any criminal activities to Crime Stop 08600 10111.
