Msobomvu Police are investigating a murder case following the murder of 28 year old woman. It is alleged that the body of the deceased was seen by a community member on Monday, 17 December 2018 at about 04:00 at Cuba Township, Butterworth.
The deceased suffered a bullet wound on her upper body. She was last seen with her friends on Friday, 16 December 2018 at about 22:00 around Cuba Township, Butterworth. The motive behind her murder is not known.

Butterworth Cluster Commander, Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu has condemned the brutal murder of a defenceless woman and he vowed that Msobomvu Police detectives will work around the clock to trace the suspect/s. The identity of the deceased is still being withheld until her relatives are officially informed about her murder.
