Centane Police arrested a 44 year old man for the alleged rape of a 53 year old woman. It is alleged that the victim was raped on Wednesday, 7 August 2019, at about 21:00 at Mathole Locality, Centule Village, Centane.
The suspect is the youngest brother of the late husband of the victim. The victim decided to break the silence about the rape and opened a rape case at Centane Police Station.
The 44 year old suspect was arrested on Saturday, 5 October 2019 and charged with rape. The suspect will appear before the Centane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 7 October 2019 on a rape charge.
