Willowvale Police arrested a 21 year old man for alleged murder of a 32 year old man. It is alleged that both the suspect and the deceased were in a tavern at Mpume Locality, Ntube Village, Willowvale on Monday 25 March 2019, at about 19:00.
It is further alleged that the suspect drank the liquor of the deceased without his permission. This resulted to a quarrel as the 32 year old man was not happy by what was being done by the suspect. The suspect drew his knife and fatally wounded the man.
The suspect was traced and arrested after the murder case was reported at Willowvale Police Station. The suspect will appear before the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 27 March 2019 on a murder charge.
The tavern will be closed by the Willowvale Police as a murder was reported in its premises. The identity of the deceased will be published once all his close relatives are informed of his murder.
