Team work and sharing of information led to the arrest of a 23 year old murder suspect in Algoa Park on 6 January 2018.
At about 09:30, PE Flying Squad and SAPS Algoa Park Crime Prevention members acted on information received about a murder suspect in Kerk Street, Missionvale.
It is alleged that on 23 December 2017, a 30 year old male was fatally stabbed in Missionvale. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
When the suspect spotted the police vehicle, he started to run but was apprehended. Police also found 11 packets of tik and some cash in his possession. He was detained for murder and possession of drugs.
