Vehicle checkpoint uncovers dagga haul, Dordrecht

On 26 March 2018, a Multi-disciplinary approach in line with our Back to Basics approach towards policing yielded results when members of Dordrecht SAPS together with members of traffic department conducted a successful operation comprising of a stop and search and vehicle checkpoint.

While conducting the operation they stopped a Minibus Taxi coming from Ntabankulu to Cape Town.

Upon searching the vehicle with 4 passengers a large quantity of Dagga was found wrapped in plastic bags. All the suspects will appear in Dordrecht District court soon facing charge of dealing in Dagga.

The Elliot Cluster Commander, Colonel Gezani applauded the swift action by all the members involved.
