The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offence unit in Uitenhage are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 13-year-old boy who went missing on Friday 28 July 2023.

It is alleged that on abovementioned date, at approximately 14:00, Rushdeen Killian was last seen at Cape Receive School.

Rushdeen was supposed to get onto a bus back to Oosterland, however he informed the driver that he need to attend to a school function.

He never returned to Oosterland, Children’s home, enquiries were made with family and friends where he frequently visited, but they were unable to trace him.

When he left the house he was wearing a black hoody top, black pants and black grasshoppers carrying a black backpack.

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the tracing of Rushdeen Killian to contact D/Capt Sone Van Dyk on 083 234 8126 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
