Two suspects aged between 23 and 35 were arrested on 5 February 2019, at Frankfort location outside King Williams Town. This comes after the Police followed up on information they have received from a community member.
The first suspect was caught by the Police with eight full mandrax tablets and eleven sachets of tik and was also charged for possession of suspected stolen property. Another suspect was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property and on a warrant of arrest.
Among the property recovered were one mini Hi-Fi, two Speakers, cellphones and dangerous weapons.
Both suspects will appear at Zwelitsha Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 7 February 2019.
