King Williams Town Flying Squad members followed up on information they received of drugs being sold at a house. A search warrant was obtained and they proceeded to the house at Zone 3, Zwelitsha. During a search of the house several bags of dagga was found hidden behind the beds and seized.

The dagga weighed at 29.5kg with a street value of approximately R10 000.00. Two suspects aged 48 and 50 years were arrested and face charges of possession of dagga.

Brigadier Luntu Ngubelanga the Cluster Commander of King Williamstown commended the teams for their swift response and extended sincere thanks to the community for providing information. “We nurture and protect our informants who supply us with information on crime and criminals, he added.
