Three arrested for Eastern Cape carjacking

Willowvale police have arrested three men for car hijacking, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.

The suspects, one aged 33 and two aged 22, were arrested after they allegedly hijacked a car being driven by a 39-year-old man at 2am on Friday morning at Ngadla village, Willowvale, spokesman Captain Jackson Manatha said.

The men were arrested at their homes at Ngadla village on Saturday. The hijacked car was also recovered. The three would appear in the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court on Monday, Manatha said.
