A 28 year old man was arrested by Vispol members after having been found in possession of a police issued safe at Zixholosini locality, Ngqeleni on the night of 5 April 2019.
The safe is believed to have been stolen during a break in at a homestead of a SAPS member in Dumasi locality, Ngqeleni in March this year. Two Laptops an HP and an Acer, also suspected to have been stolen, were also confiscated from him during the raid by the members acting on a tip off.
He will appear in Ngqeleni Magistrate court on Monday 8 April 2019, facing a charge of possession of suspected stolen property and he will be linked to the above mentioned housebreaking and theft.
