SAPS Humewood detectives are searching for three robbery suspects after they allegedly robbed a post office in Summerstrand on the morning of 3 August 2021.

It is alleged that at about 09:00, an unknown black male entered the post office and made enquiries about motor vehicles’ license renewal. Thereafter, another male walked in and pointed a firearm at the cashier. The third suspect then joined them.

An undisclosed amount of cash, the cashier’s cell phone and vehicle license papers were taken. The staff were left in the toilet before the suspects fled in a silver Nissan Almera.

No one sustained any injuries in the incident.

A case of business robbery is under investigation.
