Detectives conducted a tracing operation on the night of 20 July 2021, and managed to arrest eleven suspects for various crimes that they committed.
The operation on tracing of suspects yielded good results after detectives arrested suspects aged between 19 and 38 years for crimes ranging from assault, malicious damage to property, warrant of arrest, contravention of protection order and housebreaking and theft.
Amathole Acting District Commissioner Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu appreciated the job done by the Detectives in ensuring that they do not rest until the perpetrators are behind bars.
The suspects are due to appear at the Stutterheim Magistrate court today 21 July 2021.
