Whilst most of management and personnel spent the day in celebrations for Mandela Day Detectives of Port Alfred Cluster celebrated their arrests.
16 suspects have been arrested during the detective operations.
Suspects arrested have been sought for serious assaults, malicious damage to property, house breaking and theft, theft of firearm and possession of stolen property.
A 24 year old male was among those arrested in the early hours of the morning of 18 July 2017.He has been linked to nearly 15 housebreaking and theft cases.
The suspect also has other 3 pending cases. He will appear in the Port Alfred magistrate court on 20 July 2017.
