During a routine roadblock conducted on the N10 Port Elizabeth, Tarkastad cross road on 10 August 2020, 30.2 kilograms of cannabis and a sheep carcass was confiscated from a taxi.

Members from the Cradock Operational Command Centre, SANDF members and members from the K9 unit searched vehicles, trucks and taxis when the finding was made.

The Cannabis with a street value of almost R90 600-00 was booked in the SAP 13 register as found property, and the sheep carcass was handed over to the Cradock Stock theft Unit.

No arrests have been made.
