On 17 July 2019, Cambridge police responded to information about a man who was alleged to be using drugs at Amalinda Forest, East London on the afternoon of 16 July 2019. On searching his shack, the police did not only find mandrax tablets but some other items which are suspected to be stolen, these included car radios, cellphones, car keys, bank, ID, and medical aid cards, knives and gate remote controls.

The arrested 35 year old suspect might be linked to other cases. He will appear before the East London magistrates court on 18 July facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property drugs.
