A 39 year old security guard was shot and killed in his home on 26 November 2019, at about 08:30. This followed after he was also shot and wounded in his chest two months ago. In that incident he and his colleague were picking up a fellow member for work when unknown suspects opened fire on them while they were waiting in a parked bakkie.
He has only returned from hospital about a week ago. On Tuesday morning, his wife was busy washing him when an unknown armed suspect entered their home and forced him to kneel, after which he was shot once behind the head.
The suspect then fled the scene without taking any valuables.
