The South African Police Service in Uitenhage in cooperation with detectives from the Uitenhage Cluster Operational Command Centre have launched a search for a group of armed suspects following a robbery at a business in Mel Brooks Avenue, Uitenhage on 10 March 2019 at about 09:00.

It is alleged that a group armed males forcefully entered the premises of the business and threatened the security officers on duty.

The suspects took several brand new flat screen TV sets from a storeroom and fled in a white Nissan Hardbody. No one was injured during the robbery. Uitenhage Cluster detectives are investigating a case of armed robbery and detectives are following up on all possible leads.
