A 45 year old man was arrested today at the Kragga Kamma Spar by members of SAPS Walmer. It is alleged that while members were patrolling they noticed a suspicious looking person. The person was taken to the police station for profiling and further questioning.
The suspect is wanted on 7 cases of theft out of motor vehicle allegedly committed in the Mount Road, Humewood, Walmer and Kabega Park areas.
The crimes were committed from 2003 to 2018. The suspect also has a string of previous convictions of housebreaking, theft, possession of housebreaking implements, contempt of court and possession of drugs.
He was detained and is expected to appear in court soon.
