During 24 and 25 of February 2020, a combined team including CI the OCC Team and reservists of Burgersdorp station had the following successes during an intelligence driven operation.

A 27 year old suspect of Thembisa was arrested for possession of drugs. 16 Straws of crystal meth and 9 mandrax pills in different sizes to the value of R 3500-00 was confiscated.

During their patrols in town they managed to identify a wanted suspect for assault GBH and was apprehended.

The team also followed up information of a suspect that sold drugs in Burgersdorp town area and arrested a 30-year-old man for possession of drugs

The last stop was at Mzamomhle Township where they made a turn at an identified house. On further investigation an ice-cream container was found with six parcels of dagga and different dangerous weapons was also confiscated. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested for possession of dagga and dangerous weapons.

The acting Cluster Commander Col Chris Wright commended the combined team that brought their expertise together so the successes could be reached. The criminals felt your presence.
