Roadblock uncovers R30k worth of dagga, Misty Mount

Two men with aged 24 and 34 were arrested and charged for possession and dealing in dagga at a roadblock on the R61 near Misty Mount on 2 August 2020, at about 01:30. The pair was arrested after their vehicle was searched and dagga weighing 30.7kg with the street value of R30 700 was confiscated.

They will appear before Libode Magistrate Court on 3 August 2020.

And a 35-year-old man was arrested by Mthatha Vispol members after he was found in possession of 143 dagga sachets and a cash amount of R2010 at Mandela Park in Mthatha at about 11:45. He will appear before Mthatha Magistrate Court facing charges of possession and dealing in dagga.
