On Thursday, 3 August 2017, in the Uitenhage Cluster, with continuous concerted efforts in dealing with crime incidents affecting the farming community, resulted in the establishment of a special task team that has been established.

This following a burglary at a Game Farm at about 10:40.

According to information, it is alleged that four male suspects armed with rifles forced the door of a store room open and removed two rhino horns. These horns were removed from a rhino who died on the Game Farm about a month ago.

The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle from the scene.

The task team is making an appeal to anyone that can assist with any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects and the rhino horns, to urgently contact the investigating officer, Detective Captain Gary du Randt on 082 958 9099 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

A case of housebreaking and theft is under investigation.
