On 6 January 2018, Flying Squad members confiscated a 9mm replica firearm with a silencer and magazine.
Members attended to a complaint in Dalton Street Algoa Park of pointing of a firearm and on further investigation it was established that the complainant reported the incident after a domestic brawl.
The police also pointed out that Harboring criminals is an offence and police are appealing to the communities to continue reporting these offenders so that they are removed from society.
