A 23-year-old man was arrested for an alleged rape that occurred at Skansini locality, Buntingville A/A, in Ngqeleni, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa on 19 September 2020 at about 21:00.
It is alleged that an 11-year-old girl went missing on the evening of 17 September 2020. Her mother searched for her and found her at the suspect’s homestead and she alleged to have been raped by the suspect.
A rape case was then registered and the suspect was arrested on 19 September 2020, at his homestead.
He will be caused to appear before Ngqeleni Magistrate Court on 21 September 2020.
