R494k worth of drugs recovered at a home in Cradock

During an integrated operation on 23 January 2019, members of the Operational Command Centre, K9 unit and Highway patrol in Cradock searched a homestead in Lingelihle, Cradock and confiscated 58 kg of loose dagga and 4004 Mandrax tablets.

The confiscated drugs have a street value of R494 320.00. Investigation is underway to trace the suspect.

The Cluster Commander of Cradock Cluster, Brigadier Madoda Zamkana said the “Police will continue to intensify visibility by conducting stop and search operations and he also urged the community to come forward with information to ensure that our communities live in a safe and secure environment”.
