R10 million was wasted by the Department of Tourism for a resort to be erected in Tsholomnqa KwaSandile in the Eastern Cape.
The project began in 2011 and after six years all that remains are eight ruined cottages, a lot of building material and two shipping containers.
It is not known who the contractors were and whether they had a BEE clearance.
