Bethelsdorp detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and tracing the next of kin of a 19-year-old teenager who was found murdered on the night of 20 November 2020.

According to information received, at about 20:15, members responded to a complaint of a body of a person lying in the bushes between Kroneberg Street in Ext 21 and Hibiscus Street in Ext 31 in Bethelsdorp. The body of a 19-year-old male was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his head. He is unknown by the residents in that area.

The teenager was clad in green check pyjama pants, red and navy track Fila jacket, a Redbat golf T-shirt, black Dakota shoes and a blue surgical mask. The circumstances surrounding his death is unknown at this stage and suspects are also unknown.
