SAPS Swartkops detectives are investigating a culpable homicide case following the death of an unknown man today, 19 December 2023 in Bluewaterbay.
It is alleged that at approximately 12:00 this afternoon, SAPS Swartkops responded to a complaint, of an accident on the N2, Bluewaterbay direction Motherwell. On arrival they were informed that the deceased was driving a motorbike Bajaj GT125 and he allegedly overtook a truck on the yellow lines, where he nearly collided with a pedestrian who was walking on the side of the road. As the driver of a motor cycle swerve out for the pedestrian he was thrown from the motorcycle and the truck collided with the biker. He died on the scene.
