The Provincial Organised Crime Investigation in Port Elizabeth are on the hunt for a suspect who shot and killed two people in a tavern in New Brighton during the early hours of 26 October 2020.
It is alleged that at about 00:17 the two males aged between 30 and 35 and two females entered the tavern in Ferguson Road in New Brighton. They sat at a table in front at the bar counter. The unknown suspect approached the table and an argument erupted between the two males. The suspect pulled out a firearm and fatally shot both males. They were shot multiple times.
It is further alleged that the argument emanated after the suspect didn’t want them sitting at that table.
The deceased persons and the suspect are unknown at this stage. Police are investigating two cases of murder.
