Police are investigating a house robbery incident in Uitenhage. The incident occurred on Saturday, 8 September 2018, around 3:00, it is alleged that an unknown number of suspects, one armed with a firearm stormed into a house in Angelier Street, Uitenhage through an open sliding door.

A house occupant, who was awake at the time, through empty bottles at the suspects and also activated an alarm button. Suspects were then forced to flee with menial stolen items.

At the scene, police gathered crucial evidence, which the suspects left behind.

Police are following all leads and the arrest is imminent.
