On 8 June 2018, various stations and units embarked on operations in the Cluster with sub cluster stations supporting with manpower in Aliwal North to ensure that Crime Must Fall. The objective is to maintain law, order, peace and security as well as reclaim the space occupied by criminals.
Different activities including high visibility foot and vehicle patrols, visiting of business and liquor outlets, alcohol and drug abuse and roadblocks were held. The focus were on different crimes including drugs, illegal firearms, stolen vehicles, wanted suspects, counterfeit goods, stock theft and theft of motor vehicles.
The Cluster Commander, Brigadier Xakavu commended the members on their commitment and dedication and encouraged them to continue to create a safer environment for our respective communities.
