A retail outlet in Bluewater Bay was robbed on 27 November 2018 just before 20:00. As the security officials were busy with closing routines, nine suspects entered the store and produced at least six firearms. All the suspects were masked and wore gloves.
They ordered all persons in the store to lay down and robbed the till points as well as the control room. A substantial amount of money was taken and afterwards the suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Quantum minibus. No shots were fired and no persons were injured in the incident.
