Police are seeking assistance of the community in tracing a 35-year-old male suspect Mxolisi Skosana also known as “Ngobe” in relation to a double murder that occurred on 6 June 2021, in Ngubengcuka Location, at Mtontsasa.
It is alleged that Ngobe insisted on joining the deceased and his friends while they were having drinks in their residential yard. When they refused, he started shooting at them and then fled the scene. The injured were then rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention and were declared dead on arrival.
A warrant of arrest was issued by the court for the arrest of the suspect. Members of the Community are warned not attempt to arrest the wanted suspect as he is believed to be armed, dangerous and a threat to society.
