Mthatha Vispol members have arrested a 27 year old man after he was found in possession of 25 × Tik sachets, 5 × Boss Mandrax and 4 × Boss Mandrax halves at Payne locality Mthatha on the early hours of 17 August 2019. He is due to appear before Mthatha Magistrate Court today facing charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
Tina Falls police have arrested a 25 year old man after he allegedly stabbed and killed a 30 year man near Riverside loc Bencuti A/A on 16 August 2019. A 72 hour plan was activated and he was arrested at Mkwezo locality Bencuthi A/A on Saturday, 17 August 2019. He will be caused before Qumbu Magistrate Court today.
A 44 year old man handed himself to police after he stabbed and killed another 40 year old man whilst both on duty at a construction site Ngobozi locality in Ngqeleni on Friday 16 August 2019, at about 20:00. He handed himself to police on Saturday morning. He is appearing before Ngqeleni Magistrate Court today.
A 20 year old man was arrested by Mqanduli members for possession of an unlicensed firearm with no ammunition at Ngqungqu A/A in Mqanduli at about 12:30. Members were conducting body search when they spotted the suspect and when searching him they found him in possession of a 9mm pistol. The firearm will be sent for ballistic testing.
All the suspects will be profiled and linked to other crimes.
