“We condemn and discourage the acts of mob killings. People must not take law into their own hands. Anyone that is suspected to have committed an offence should be brought to us and face the law, however we will leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators of these crimes to book.”

That is a stern warning from the Acting Cluster Commander Brigadier Nomawethu Makonza after a 39 year old man was brutally assaulted by unknown people at Lujecweni locality Ngqeleni yesterday the 12 July 2018 at about 17:00.

Investigations are continuing and we urge anyone with information to contact D /Lt Colonel Nodlabi on 0798900806 or may contact Crime Stop Line on 0860 10111 and confidentiality is guaranteed.
