The Visible Policing Commander and other members conducted a high visibility operation within the Stutterheim CBD and Mlungisi areas.
During the patrols they received information about a group of males who were busy vandalizing and digging up paving tiles using garden spades and wheelbarrows from the Mlungisi Mall.
The building was partly burnt during last year’s unrest. Four suspects were caught in the act and were immediately arrested.
Three wheelbarrows and two garden spades were seized. The suspects will appear at Stutterheim Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 4 November 2019.
