A 58-year-old man was arrested and charged for the alleged murder at Misty Mount.
It is alleged that deceased was assisting his cousin who was allegedly assaulted by the suspect. The suspect pulled out a firearm and shot the victim.
He succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The suspect was arrested and his firearm and ammunition was confiscated.
He will appear before Libode Magistrate Court soon.
