The 16 year old girl, Cecilia Ngwenya who went missing from Dimbaza was found last night at Kieskammahoek. The girl received a lift from her cousins boyfriend while coming from school on 16 November 2017.
It is alleged that the vehicle drove on R63 towards Alice, the teen fell asleep and she woke up finding herself in a bed in an area she did not recognize.
The father received information and Police followed up and went to Sophumelela Township in Kieskammahoek where they found her.
One male was arrested and another male named Gerald is on the run.
Police opened a case of Kidnapping for further investigation.
The suspect will appear at Dimbaza Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 04 December 2017. Police are appealing to the community to assist in finding Gerald from Kieskammahoek and to contact Warrant Officer Mbango or Warrant Officer Mchithakali on 040 656 4300.
