On Friday 15 November 2019, at about 07:00, Lieutenant Colonel Jonas and 6 members from Willowmore Police Station along with 5 Provincial Traffic officials, were manning a roadblock on the N9 Road from Willowmore when they stopped and searched a truck.

Upon conducting a search in the truck, members found 23 bags of dagga hidden in the back of the truck.

The 54 year old male was arrested and detained at Willowmore Police Station. During the Operation the members searched 107 Vehicles, 348 Persons, issued 9 traffic fines at a Value of R 9300.

The objective of these operations are to ensure safer roads this festive season.
