The South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects who allegedly robbed a business in Ponanatini Road, Kwanobuhle on 7 March 2019 at 17:45. It is alleged that the group entered the premises and pretended to purchase liquor.
The suspects (all armed with firearms) then threatened the 30 year old complainant and one suspect assaulted the complainant. The suspects then took several bottles of liquor, an undisclosed amount of cash and cellphones. The suspects then allegedly fled in a yellow VW Golf from the scene.
No shots were fired during the robbery and detectives are following up on all possible leads.
