Sgt Mcasa of Maclear Visible Policing was busy with crime prevention patrols when he received information regarding drugs at Sonwabile location in Maclear. He got assistance and they followed up the information.
A 38 year old male was arrested for possession of drugs and 19 quarter mandrax, 4 half mandrax and 5 full mandrax as well as 19 straws of tik were confiscated.
The Cluster Commander, Col Matshediso Gezani commended the members on the swift reaction. Perpetrators must know that this conduct will not be accepted in our small rural towns. We are here to keep our communities safe and secure.
